1929 Ford ‘Dick Flint’ Roadster
Description:He owned the roadster for over 30 years before selling it to vintage race enthusiast and hot rodder Don Orosco. From there, the rest of the custom body work ensued. The panels in the wheel wells had rusted out, so Valley Custom replaced them with new removable panels. On a tip from Neal East, Orosco contacted Kofoed, who was at first reluctant to sell; in fact, it took Duane two years before he even consented to send Don photos of the car. The hole in the cowl for the original Model A fuel tank was filled, and a new tank was relocated under the decklid. He drove it extensively, and it was photographed and filmed at many shows and rod runs. Completely custom in every way, this Ford has acted as an inspiration and an automotive muse for generations of automotive enthusiasts, and continues to be a quintessential representation of an era long gone!
